Origins and ambition
T8® was born from a simple observation: the DISC model is extremely useful in business, but existing tools often rely on oversimplification, questionable interpretations or reporting poorly suited to professional needs.
Founded in 2015 and based in France, the company set out to offer a more rigorous, more revealing alternative, immediately actionable for consultants, firms, HR departments and sales teams.
Within a few years, this ambition became an international reality: T8® now serves clients in over 50 countries, with a method that has become a reference for organisations seeking a reliable, nuanced and actionable DISC.
Tennessee Veldeman, creator of DISCpro®
T8® was founded by Tennessee Veldeman, a specialist in behavioural dynamics and data analysis. It is the combination of these two areas of expertise that enabled him to design a reliable DISC questionnaire and a unique, proprietary method entirely developed by him: DISCpro®.
Where many DISC tools simply restitute four colours, Tennessee Veldeman rebuilt the approach from real professional use cases: recruitment, management, sales development, executive coaching, team cohesion and training.
A dual skill set — behaviour and data — in service of a more reliable method.
A proprietary model designed to address the limitations of existing solutions.
DISCpro®: a reliable method for the professional world
DISCpro® is a behavioural method designed specifically for professional contexts. It builds on the original DISC model, but makes it more reliable, richer and more relevant for concrete business decisions.
The method works for every profile and adapts equally well to:
- recruitment and selection processes;
- support for executives and managers;
- development of sales teams and commercial staff;
- coaching, training and team-building missions.
Tennessee Veldeman specifically addressed one of the most frequent criticisms of classic DISC tools: the ethical issues linked to the simplistic opposition between natural and adapted style. DISCpro® introduces professional natural style and adaptability — two more accurate, more revealing concepts better suited to workplace realities.
Deeper, more revealing concepts
Beyond the four DISC dimensions, DISCpro® delivers a significantly finer behavioural reading. Tennessee Veldeman integrated advanced concepts that turn the report into a genuine decision-making tool:
- 1
Internal tensions
Identify friction zones between behavioural tendencies within the same profile.
- 2
Stress triggers
Understand what undermines an individual in certain professional situations.
- 3
Leadership postures
Read natural leadership styles and their managerial implications.
- 4
Managerial capacity
Assess a manager's relational and organisational aptitudes.
- 5
Natural sales pipeline aptitudes
Reveal behavioural strengths suited to prospecting, negotiation and client retention.
This analytical depth explains why DISCpro® has become, within a few years, the reference method for companies worldwide.
T8®, the platform behind the method
The DISCpro® method is operationally deployed through T8®, the international DISC report generation platform. This platform enables T8® to deliver unique features designed for professionals who use DISC daily.
- Customisable modular reports — tailored to each use case: recruitment, management, sales, team;
- Consultant management — organise missions, clients and deliverables;
- Respondent management — track assessments, reminders and history;
- Questionnaire distribution — simple or large-scale campaigns in a few clicks;
- White label — deploy under your own visual identity.
Whether you are an independent consultant, firm, training centre or HR department, the platform centralises the entire assessment cycle: from questionnaire distribution to final report delivery.
DISCpro® Team: the first DISC team mapping
Tennessee Veldeman also created a unique assessment: DISCpro® Team. It is the first team mapping built around the DISC method, designed to provide concrete answers to collective challenges.
Where an individual report illuminates a profile, DISCpro® Team reveals group dynamics:
- the team's shared strengths and cohesion levers;
- behavioural complementarities between profiles;
- at-risk pairings — profile combinations likely to generate tension or blind spots;
- collective development axes to improve performance and communication.
DISCpro® Team transforms DISC from an individual tool into a genuine team diagnostic instrument, usable in seminars, group coaching or managerial support.
